Lenson is a teacher at a secondary school in Njombe and once had the idea of finishing baskets with leather together with a friend. Since the demand for baskets in Germany is not so high, Lenson now sews laptop bags made of Kitenge (East African fabric). This way, he can supplement his small salary as a teacher and, for example, give his son a good education.
Johannes lived in Njombe Tanzania in 2008/2009 and did voluntary service at the same school where Lenson works. Johannes knows the language, the country and the people and is responsible for the distribution of kipoa products in Germany.
